Ultrasound utilizes high
 frequency sound waves, and there are no known harmful effects to humans in the decades of clinical use. The possibility always exists that effects may be identified in the future.

Image Clear Ultrasound of Akron, Ohio offers free limited pregnancy services to the local community in a private and convenient manner aboard a modified 2004 RV. Obstetrical limited ultrasounds are available to those early in their pregnancy who have not yet begun regular medical care and this free community service is provided once per client pregnancy, usually during the first several months of pregnancy.

  • free limited ultrasounds performed by a registered diagnostic medical ultrasonographer
  • free self-administered urine pregnancy tests
  • pregnancy options consulting
  • information on abortion, adoption and parenting
  • referrals as necessary

 

ICU ultrasounds are only for the purposes of confirming a client’s pregnancy, estimating a due date and determining fetal age. ICU ultrasounds are not for the purposes of diagnosing or detecting any medical problem or condition for the client or her baby.

Obtaining free service on ICU should never be considered a substitute for medical care by a personal physician. ICU does not provide ongoing pregnancy care but refers each client to a list of prenatal care providers.
